Online exam for the post of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector is Delhi Police, CISF and CAPF conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will commence from 30-06-2017 to 07-07-2017. Every year lacs of students prepare for it but only thousands of them qualify for paper II. This happens due to lack of planned preparation. Exam Pattern and cut off

There will be common exam for both the posts. It consists of 4 subjects mentioned below:

Try solving this section first, If you have fast and accurate calculation skills.

6 Basic Mathematical operations and Problems Choosing of correct operators, Problems based on Ages
7 Blood Relations and Direction & Distance Problems based on Family Members, Direction & Distance sense test
8 Image Reasoning Cubes & Dices, Geometrical Figure, Individual Figure, Series of Figures As per expected paper pattern these sections consist of 15 Marks. If you are good at analysis of figures and verbal reasoning so these sections will give you more marks to score

Exam Strategy for SSC CPO Reasoning paper

Based on the above important topics below is the suggested exam strategy for paper of SSC CPO Reasoning and General Intelligence which will help you to stand good score from this section.

  1. Set your time limits: The ideal time to solve per question is 36 seconds as there are total 200 questions in 120 minutes. However, you should set a time limit of 35 minutes for this section.
  2. First Target: First try to attempt 25 questions in 35 minutes with 100% accuracy. For this first try to complete questions from chapters numbered 1 to 3 as they are based on general concepts of reasoning. And then you can choose topics either from chapters numbered 4 to 7 if you are good at mathematical calculations or from 8 to 10 if you are comfortable solving Image and Verbal reasoning.
  3. Second Target: After attempting 25 questions of your choice, try to complete at least 10 more questions taking 1 minute per question. Here you can target for 90% accuracy which will give you about 30 marks from this section.
  4. Score High: If General Intelligence and Reasoning is your subject of interest then try to utilize the remaining time to attempt 5 more questions, after attempting questions from all the sections.

You should take subject-wise mock tests of SSC CPO  Reasoning  and General Intelligence after completing the syllabus so that it will help you for both revision of the chapters and for maintaining your speed and accuracy.
